How to tweak Avast Antivirus for Automatic actions

In one of my previous post, I shared my experience regarding the best antivirus and promised to write again to let you know how to tweak Avast! Antivirus for automatic functioning-detection and action on viruses or harmful programs. Here is the script for those who wants to configure their avast for automatic actions:

1. Double click on the avast! antivirus tray icon on the right corner of taskbar to activate the antivirus control interface.

2. Click Scan Computer and then scan now at the left of the interface.

3. click More details under the start button at the right of Quick Scan.

4. Click 'Turn on' to activate scanning PUP

5. Then click on settings to change some of the parameters under Actions category Under actions, check 'Automatically apply actions.....' and under this, select what actions to be taken when a virus or potentially harmful program is detected under Virus/PuP/Suspicious categories of problems.

For virus it should be "Delete/ if fails, then move to chest" or you can selecte the reverse order.
For PUP/Suspicious programs, you may select the sequence "Repair/Move to Chest/Delete".

After finishing, just click Ok.

6. Repeat sequence 3 to 5 for other options i.e., Full system scan, Removable media scan and Folder to scan.

7. Finally, close the interface.

8. Excellente!! you have configured Avast! antivirus for automatic actions.

For any explanation, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Which antivirus is the best?

It is difficult to answer the question to which one is the best antivirus. I tried several antiviruses but I was disappointed pretty fast. I used AVG antivirus, but that seemed to use a handsome amount of memory from my pc. Then I used McaFee Antivirus Enterprise version. It also showed some drawbacks. Firstly, it failed to detect some crucial viruses. Secondly, updating is a bit difficult. Another thing which is very noteworthy is that, this software requires to be bought firstly to use minimum functionality for a longer period. Though I did not use personally, a number of my friends told me that, their Kaspersky Antivirus is also not that efficient. They used the purchased version of that. I started using Avast from the very beginning of buying a new Laptop in January, 2010. Since then, it did not disappoint me for about last 2 years. The most important aspect of Avast is that, you can use the Free Version of the antivirus for a period of 1 (one) year. Avast is very easy to updat...

Is Readbud a scam?

I found a good number of results to the question whether Readbud is a scam or not. I did not believe it at early stage. But after about four month, I realize the fact. I have been the member of www.readbud.com since October 2011 and since then I have read more than 850 articles and rated them as per the requirements of readbud. After passing a very long time, In early January 2012, I found that I have earned about $40. I thought I am very near to redeem my earnings from the site. But what the site did is very much disappointing. Before earning $30, I was able to rate more than 5/6 articles a day which enabled me to earn fast. But as time passed, the number of articles reduced gradually. On February 2012, I got only 3 articles for reading and rating. The next month in March, I received only 2 articles. And sad to say that for last couple of days, I found no articles at all!! So for the beginners, who want to earn some extra bucks online over internet, i think should forget readbud. Lo...
