Which antivirus is the best?

It is difficult to answer the question to which one is the best antivirus. I tried several antiviruses but I was disappointed pretty fast. I used AVG antivirus, but that seemed to use a handsome amount of memory from my pc. Then I used McaFee Antivirus Enterprise version. It also showed some drawbacks.
